Everyone of the online MLM gurus always say the same thing. To market your business opportunity online you must be able to brand yourself. Ann Sieg, Mike Dillard, Magnetic Attraction Prosperity etc systems all say it in one way or another.

You can’t rely on your company replicated website to bring in the business.
To market your MLM online you need five essential things:

Web Hosting
Autoresponder
Video Hosting and Editing
Conferencing
Traffic

Web hosting is important because you will need a place to be able to put up web pages, mini sites, blogs and to make lead capture pages or squeeze pages. That’s how you’ll get prospects in. You can temporarily use sites like Renegade University or Magnetic Sponsoring and they are nice systems (in fact those two are the top ones available) but they don’t brand you, they brand Ann Sieg and Mike Dillard. That’s okay to get you going right now, but those systems teach you that you should brand yourself. That’s why you need web hosting.

The only way to brand yourself is to make your own websites.

Once you have a way to attract people you also need a way to communicate to them. That’s where an autoresponder comes in. If you just send out copy and paste emails, you’ll miss some people and you’ll be spending time doing busy work. That just means that if you set up an automatic set of emails to go out, you will have time to do the important part of MLM which is the belly to belly part. Autoresponders make it easy to get your message out there the same way every time, without you having to deal with it once it is setup. It takes a certain number of impressions to get people interested. Now you can get the initial ones out of the way automatically and only deal with people that have preselected themselves to want more. There are a couple of choices for autoreponders. The main one I used to use has always been aweber, but now there is one included in the package I use called eResponder Pro. They both work similarly. I changed because the price was less expensive (especially as your list grows) and included a bunch of other stuff.

Hosting videos on your own server can be expensive and can be a source of real pain for you and your server. I still have videos on YouTube. There are some that it makes sense to host there. Let’s say short promotional videos where you want to send people to your web site. But there is nothing worse than having a video that is too long to fit on YouTube or even worse having a video that drives people away from your website to your competition’s website. You put up a great video on your site and at the end it gives links to other “related” videos. Your prospect clicks and say goodbye to your opportunity. So, even if it is $100 a month extra for video hosting for your site IT IS WORTH IT! Luckily you can find it find it for less.

Once you have your videos hosted, you also have to have an easy way to pop them into video squeeze pages and to do some basic editing to make them presentable. Easy Video Producer is a great way to do that.

Once you are getting leads coming in and going through your process, as the expert (which is how you will brand yourself) you will want to start having online conferencing. There are many choices for that ranging from free to thousands of dollars. DimDim is a free choice (although you will probably upgrade to get more services). Another one that is a good option is GVO Conference, which they bundle in the GVO service package.

And the last thing is traffic. I use all sorts of ways to get traffic from traffic exchanges such as Traffic Swarm to PPC ads. Some more expensive than others. What’s best is a full prospecting service.

Now what if you could get all these things in one package?
